Description

The CIDB grades construction companies from levels 1 to 9 based on their past & future works and financial capabilities. Our Cidb registration fees range from R 750 to R 60,750 depending on the grade you are applying for. They include the application as well as the annual fees payable upon registration.

REQUIREMENTS

(For grade 1)
1. Company registration documents (CK)
2. Tax clearance (complaint)
3. Application fee (proof of payment)
4. CSD

For other Grades
1. All from grade 1
2. Tax clearance
3. Financial statement
4. Largest contract
5. Application fee (proof of payment)

Companies that never traded/perform any construction in history or a net worth can still register for the entry level CIDB grade 1, however, they can only bid for government projects up to the value of R 130,000.

DURATION

Between 1 to 21 working days dependent on the grade applied for.

1. Grade 1, it will take about 1 to 3 days.
2. Other Grades, they will normally take within 21 days. Some applications can take less than even the 21 working days.
